Dear Lord,
We are thankful for your presence in our lives each and every day. Help us to understand your word better so that we may be able to draw closer to you. Our lives are filled with opportunities to choose good over evil and honor over shame. Help us to see clearly so that we may honor you in all we do and say. When we do make mistakes, help us to see those mistakes so that we can learn from them and avoid them the next time they come around. We want to honor you in the way we live our lives so help us to stay away from unwholesome talk. May our words be honoring to you and gossip be far from our lips. We want people to see the difference in us so help us to show them by the way we speak of you and others. Wash us clean so that we can be pleasing in your sight. We love you and are so thankful to be called your children.
