Father—Please give us wisdom in the things we face. Help us to be wise in our actions, to seek wisdom when we are not certain of the way, and to seek your will. Give us the desire to pursue what is pleasing to you instead of what appeals to our eyes and desires. Help us understand Your desires for us—how You want to discipline us to teach us of Your love, to show us Your ways, and to help us learn wisdom. Help us to be like you and hate false balances. Help us to desire to be just and fair as You are just and fair. Teach us the fear of You, not as one who cannot be approached but as the Holy One who is righteous and loves His creation. Help our thoughts, words, and actions to be pleasing before You. Let Your wisdom guide us in our relationships, work, and daily life. We praise You, Lord.
