Dear Lord,
We don’t always understand your plans for our lives. We live in a broken and fallen world where many things happen that cause us to question you. Give us hearts to understand that much of what we want to know and understand about you is outside of our human ability. Instead, may we understand just how big you are. You were here before we were and your creation tells of your awesome power. Help us to understand that you are God in heaven and we are here on earth. We live by the words that you have left us and the power of your Holy Spirit in our lives. May we always be mindful of our place and our purpose to worship you in all circumstances. Let us not rely on the word of others but your words and actions alone. You are holy and just in all you do. We love you and will continue to serve you all of our days.
