Father, lead us to serve you in the kingdom work of building and edifying your church.  In that cause, we pray that you would make us into living stones, held together by the mortar of your Spirit, standing in firm, solid, and certain tones to pray, to sing, to worship, and to enlarge your kingdom.  We thank you for your son, our Rock and Cornerstone, for giving us such an unshakable foundation!  And we ask, Lord, that  you will cause each stone in this living edifice to be unified in strength and purpose, building your church, your earthly bride, into a mighty and living dwelling place for your glory and our Savior’s presence, drawing seekers not to its physical beauty, but to the heavenly beauty of your kingdom and our magnificent hope for eternity.
