Dear Lord,
Our hearts are willing but our flesh is weak. Give us eyes to see areas in our lives that dishonor you. Help us to overcome our weaknesses so that we can glorify you with the way we live. Give us clean hands and a pure heart so that nothing can stand between ourselves and your presence. Let us focus on the good things that you have provided to us and not that of someone else. Show us places we may covet things that don’t belong to us. Allow us to take pleasure in what you have given us and not displeasure in the things that we don’t have. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from you and we want to honor you with the use of those gifts by the way we live our lives. We love you and thank you for your presence in our lives.
