Father, a prayer for this day is that you would grow and strengthen our faith.  Truly, help our faith to find deeper rest in Christ, our Everlasting Savior, whose wounds for us forever plead.  Put to death  our fear and doubt, teaching us to trust and lean upon your living Word, with confession upon our lips that, yes, it is all-sufficient for our salvation that Jesus died.  May our faith look up to you, eternal Father, for even though we once came to you with unworthy souls, we are sure in your promise that you will never cast us out.  Praise be to the Eternal, the One who calls us to trust and the one upon whose everlasting arms we lean!
