Father,
We ask that You’d speak to us clearly. The world is LOUD! Constant chatter and endless opinions circulate around us on a daily basis. All we need is YOUR voice to cut through the noise. But we need to learn the sound of it if we are going to have any hope of differentiating it from the rest of the voices trying to get in. Remind us to stay in Your word and in constant prayer, so we’d recognize you like a child recognizes their parent.
Galatians 1:6-7 says, “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.”
Father, bring us back to Your truth in a world that seeks to pervert Your gospel. Bring us into understanding of Your will when the world seeks to manipulate the truth. Our greatest intention is to know You more and give You glory. Speak to us, we’re listening.
