Lord,
Thank You for freedom. Thank You for freeing us from our sin and our past. Thank You for mercy and grace that takes away our shame and our pain. Your mercy takes us to the freedom of forgiveness when otherwise we would have to live our failures with no way to repay the debts we owe. You paid our debt and became our sin, fear, shame, doubt, and failures so that we could become Your righteousness. Our own righteousness would be nothing apart from You. Yet in this season when we deal with hurt and worry, we have a savior who takes away our condemnation and gives us hope and freedom. Thank you for the moments when we can feel Your grace, but we also thank You for the times when we don’t feel it but can still trust You. Thank you that it isn’t what we do, what we feel, or even what we think but that it’s always about You.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.
