Dear God,
We come to You today in Your presence, grateful for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. You have loved us so much that You sent Him to die for our sins, and to rise again so that we may have eternal life.
Thank You for showing us Your love in the person of Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to You except through Him.
We confess that we have often been like Nicodemus, coming to You in the darkness of night, afraid to admit our need for You. But You have loved us anyway, and You have drawn us to Yourself.
Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin and to lead us to repentance. Help us to be born of the Spirit, so that we may become new creations in Christ.
We pray that You would help us to grow in our faith and to become more like Jesus. Help us to love others as He loved us, and to forgive others as He forgave us.
We also pray for our world, which is in such need of Your love and salvation. Bring Your peace and hope to those who are suffering and lost. Help us to be Your witnesses, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all that we meet.
All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
