Father,
Help us believe when we don’t see. Sometimes our eyes get distracted. Sometimes the clouds and fog of the world make it hard to see You. Sometimes the shiny trinkets out there can get us to fix our eyes on them. Yet when our eyes are on you, we can believe. We can walk on water with our eyes on You. We see You and then everything else comes into focus. But when our eyes are not on You, then everything becomes muddy and confusing. Help us Lord to trust in You and not ourselves. Help us to believe when we don’t see You because we know You are there. You are the unfailing truth in our confusing world. Desperately we cry out to You in Your strength and Your power!
