Dear Lord,
Thank you for the story of Lazarus.
Thank you that we can see ourselves as Lazurus. As dead and beyond hope. Yet, in your divine power, we are raised up from our former bodies and made new through your holiness. Thank you that no one is beyond saving.
Thank you that we can see ourselves as Martha. As desperate, griefsome, and doubting. Yet, in your divine mercy and love, you meet us where we are at and give us hope for things we could not possibly hope for on our own. You give us new life and direction. You are the cornerstone in which we build the foundations of our lives.
Thank you for Jesus. Thank you that we have all hope, peace, and power through your name.
