Dear Lord,
We come to you today thanking you for your faithfulness. Thank you that when we ask, you pour out your spirit upon us. Today we ask that you give us the boldness to proclaim the name of Jesus, even in the face of adversity. Help us to be examples of your truth to the world around us, even when we are challenged by the powers of this world. Give us courage to speak your word to those around us, and continue to grow our faith as we encounter roadblocks as we proclaim the gospel. As a church, help us to be a community that shares things in common, and reflects the unity and selflessness that you call all believers to. Help us to be generous and compassionate, ready to help those in need. Give us clean hands and pure hearts so that we can be in step with what you’ve called us to do. Help us to be discerning so that we can revisit the temptations that may lead us astray. We love you and thank you for your grace in our lives.
