Dear Lord,
You alone are the one that is fit to judge the sins of man. You are righteous and just when it comes to dealing with your people and their sin. We come to you today with repentant hearts, turning from the evil things that we’ve done that draw us away from you. Thank you for your mercy and grace that we have through the blood of your son Jesus. The blood that was spilt that washes us white as snow. Thank you for blotting out our sins and our transgressions. It is your kindness that leads us to repentance so today may we be shown the sin that keeps us from complete fellowship with you. Make our hearts turn from that sin so that we can be in communion with you. Let us not live on grace alone but allow us to be aware of the sin in our lives so that we can repent and turn from it. Thank you Lord for your saving grace and may we forever be grateful for the gift of salvation through Jesus.
