Dear God,
We come to you with heavy hearts, for we have wandered away from your path and turned away from your commandments. We have sinned against you and our neighbor and ask for your forgiveness and mercy. As your prophet Jeremiah warned, our hearts have become hardened, and our ways have become corrupt. Please help us to turn away from our wickedness and return to you. We pray for your guidance and strength to resist temptation and follow your ways. May we be like the faithful remnant who remained loyal to you, even in the face of adversity and persecution. We ask for your protection and provision, knowing that you are the one true God who hears the cries of your people.
