Our heavenly Father, out of our gratitude for your faithfulness, your gracious intention toward us, your kindness, and your generous provision for our needs, we ask that you would use us this day—and every day— to make our service into a blessing for others.  Help us to carry your sunshine into the lives of those around us who struggle in dark discouragement, weariness, or depression.  Give us caring hearts and the strength we need to help the helpless.  Give us generous natures to give unto those around us who live in need.  Give us also a greater capacity to love the unlovely, the lonely, the grief-stricken, even as you have loved us. And in all of our service, Father, may the impact of our lives produce a living witness to your salvation so that others are drawn into your presence and into the fold of salvation.  Thank you for your grace, and grow within us an increasing desire to live more like you.  Amen!
