Father,
We thank you for your creation! We thank you for showing us your majesty through the shadows of human connection. When I look at my children I see you more clearly, when I look at my spouse, I see you more fully. Your love is beyond compare, yet you are gracious to give us a margin of its magnitude through the love we share on earth.
As we pursue holiness and seek your kingdom, make us mindful of the glory you receive in our joy! You’ve given us so much opportunity to find goodness in this life if we will remember you in every detail! You say to “be merry!” When we enjoy the goodness of your creation, you are worshiped! When we allow your word to guide us not just in sacrifice and repentance but it joy and wonder, we find our true fulfillment in you!
