Dear Lord,
Give us wisdom today and every day as we seek to honor you in the way that we live our lives. Put people in our paths that are wise and would speak words of truth to us so that we may learn from the experiences of others. Above all else give us humble hearts. Give us spirits of discernment so that we can see the many pitfalls that lie in our path. Let us not trust in our own ways but lean on your wisdom instead. Keep us protected from the wickedness that is all around us and anchor our hearts in your truths. We know that you weigh our hearts so help us to lean on your ways and not our own. The battle is yours to win and may we rest in that today. We love you and thank you for your never ending grace in our lives.
