Eternal Father, we stand before you with grateful hearts of praise today for the role, the status, and the calling that you established as our endowment since the beginning of eternity  Thank you that you receive us as your own, that you care for our standing, in spite of our weaknesses, flaws, and finite understanding;  we also thank you for appointing us, your children, to positions of privilege in the dazzling and daunting universe of your creation.   May our souls— ransomed, healed, and restored—then bow in awe, our voices lifting to you a tribute of praise!  Let us praise you for your grace; let us praise you for your favor; let us praise you for the eternal and constant hope that gives meaning and purpose to life.  Finally, may we, like the angels in holy heights, adore you for the assurance that one day in your glorious eternity, we will stand before you face to face, saints triumphant gathered from the corners of creation, united in our souls’ purpose to praise your name forever.  Amen!
