Lord,
Thank you for Job and David. Thank you for their honesty in the midst of their suffering. Thank you that you are not afraid of hearing our concerns. You are not afraid to hear our cries because you are not threatened. You are eternal. You are all powerful. You are the great I Am. What do you have to fear?
Therefore, our hearts can pour out freely if they are aligned to your glory. When our hearts are linked to your glory, our wrestling is purely against the flesh. We cry out because we want to be more like you, but our flesh is resisting.
Don’t give up on us, Father. Never stop drawing closer to us as we draw closer to you. We need you. Nothing else compares. Nothing else matters.
