Father, we thank you and exalt you as the King of kings.  And even more, we thank you and exalt you as the King of our lives.  Praise, glory, and honor unto you!  We confess you as our protector, our saving hope, our glory, our everything, without whom we have no worth apart from the world’s storehouse of pride and vanity.  You are truly our gracious master, our blessed Redeemer, our all glorious King, and you are worthy of our reverence, our tribute, our service, and our praise.  Help us then to be ever more loyal subjects to you, our sovereign, as we surrender our attitudes, our  possessions, our wills, and the hours of our days as we follow and obey our matchless king, the king before whose throne we bow this day.  Amen!
