Father,
Give us wisdom in the face of our challenges. Help us to see and understand the things in our life that confront us in the way that You see them. If we face people who would do us wrong, help us to overcome them by doing good. Help us to be firm in our faith in You. Help us when we feel alone and defeated to remember Your great strength. Help us to know that You are in control of every situation. Whether we are surrounded by enemies like David, or if we are in control of a situation, help us to trust in You and follow Your wisdom. Protect us and be our shelter. No matter the place or time, You are able to watch over us and take care of us. Let everything be for Your glory and may You receive all the praise. Wherever we go, go before us. We need you in the moments of the trials we face but we also need you before they arrive. We need you after the moment passes. We need only You!
