Lord,
Search my heart. Reveal to me where a Saul-like jealousy dwells. Revela to mre any place where fear and hatred reside. Bring it to light that it may be dealt with. Bring it to light that it may be plucked from my heart like a thorn and burned on the altar of repentance.
Let not another moment pass while I cling to fear or hatred of another. Show it to me that I may drop it from my grasp and leave it behind. Lord, I wish to hold nothing back from you. I wish to always be in your favor as David was. I want your favor to rain down upon me not so that I may boat in my favor, but that I may boast in your glory. That those who may see and wonder will have their eyes pointed to you. That their dropped jaws would open to proclaim your glory in all the earth.
