Father—Thank you. Thank You for the perfect sacrifice of Your son, Jesus. When we have walked in places we should never have gone, You have forgiven us and placed our sin upon Jesus. You have done what we couldn’t do. Lord thank You that by your Spirit, You choose to come and dwell with us. You let us come to You wherever we are; we don’t have to go to just one acceptable place to meet with You. When we call to You, You listen and respond no matter where we are. Our need is so great but You, Father, are even greater. You are so good and so merciful. You don’t give us what we deserve because we deserve nothing. Instead, you give what we don’t deserve—Your grace.  And You withhold from us that which we do deserve and so You give us mercy. Lord help those of us who struggle with Your grace and mercy. Help us to trust in You more than in our sin. Your laws are perfect, and they perfectly show us how much we need You. Help us to trust You more and more in Your provision for us. We love You and we so need You. In the name of Jesus, Your son, we pray.

–Amen
