Father,
I marvel at the mercy you’ve given me! Your covenant of grace through Christ’s blood has covered my debt. As I imagine the world of Noah and his sons, I see sin creeping over the world and poisoning your holy creation. I imagine the might of a flood and the judgment I also deserve for my rebellion. I imagine the grace for the righteous and your willingness to give your creation another chance to honor You! And yet I still fall short. But instead of leaving me to the flood of judgment, You stood in my place! My undeserving soul is granted a new purpose by Your mercy! By Your blood, I stand with confidence in your holy presence. And I will choose to operate in freedom and embrace Your gift! Living from gratefulness and not judgment.
