Father, on this day, we remember to thank you for your provision, for the grace that you pour upon us as you not only meet our material needs, but far exceed them.  Help us to respond as wise and faithful stewards of all that you provide, confessing that we truly own nothing in this magnificent Creation that we inhabit, apart from your blessing.  We further ask that you will give us generous and willing hearts toward others, helping us to recognize those with need around us whom we can serve by sharing ourselves, our resources, and our hospitality.   And we thank you as well for the joy that we know will attend when we are faithful to your calling to give with cheerful hearts.  All of these things we pray to the Lord: Amen!
