Lord,
As I read through the rules and regulations I am grateful for your direction and correction. We, in ourselves, are lost people in need of you. Thank you that our generation has Christ and his redemption. I cannot imagine life apart from your Spirit. Thank you that your Spirit convicts and convicts to bring life and prosperity not misery and suffering. Remind me that the ways of the flesh bring corruption and separation. Open my eyes anew to see connection with you is sweeter than any earthly pleasure. Let me taste the sweetness of your promises and the pureness of the joy found in you. Make my heart new again to long for You over everything. Help me to throw off these burdens so that I may worship you fully. Bring your presence now, Lord! Let it fall in this very place at this very moment! My heart longs for you and no other!
