Hi Friend!
Let me be the first to welcome you into the Kingdom of God! I’m so excited for the decision you’ve made to follow Jesus. As a way to encourage you, we’ve put together a series of devotions we’re going to send you daily via text. My hope for you is the Lord would use these devotions to jumpstart your understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.
Daily Presence is our life rhythm as a church. We want to lead people into the presence of God! We do this together on Sundays and personally through Daily Presence. These devotions aren’t meant to replace that, but supplement it. Think of these as more of an extra credit addition to your read and meditate time.
The format is simple:
Declaration – We want you to declare who you are in Christ and discover who He’s created you to be.1
Devotion – These devotions are short stores of application connecting your life to the key verses.2
Discipline – Our faith isn’t about talk but action! Each discipline is an action you can take.3
As I said earlier, I’m so excited for you. I’m praying for you and trusting the Holy Spirit to encourage and equip you as you follow our Savior Jesus Christ!
